Shot peening of aircraft components, Israel

Project: Through feed shot peening of aircraft components

Year: 2015

Industry: Aerospace industry

Problem: A renowned Israeli company is a producer of aircraft components for aerospace industry. To meet the increasing demands of their customers, they needed a completely automatic through feed shot peening machine.

Solution: ASP PEENLINE 4-1000 ECO was designed to meet the Bac 5730 and NADCAP requirements for shot peening for processing titanium and aluminium aerospace parts with full control of media flow, pressure and gun movement with 4 blasting nozzles.
Computer controlled machine (PLC) has the possibility to send data to a server and can also be remotely monitored.
Shot peening media is collected and transported by vacuum through the air wash separator to the Sweco vibratory sieve, which separates usable media and fill it to the storage hopper. Pressure pot is designed to enable fully controlled continuous shot peening without interruptions.
